G500 Exhaust upgrade to G55AMG - any issues

G500 Exhaust upgrade to G55AMG - any issues
I recently purchased a 2003 G500 and the previous owner did modifications to the exhaust from stock to AMG style side exit exhausts. the tips say magna flow and one of the mufflers has a MB logo on it, the other doesn't.
There is alot of droning noise and the exhaust is loud which you press the gas, which is driving me crazy
I like the AMG style exhaust out the sides, but need to get the sound to be quieter. the original AMG muffler is very expensive. can anyone recommend should i go with the original G500 muffler or G55 amg muffler. and will there be any limitations with the g55 muffler on a g500?
do you know where i can purchase a used one or a new one at a good price?
I need the smoothest ride as the engine is already very loud.
