starter self engaged while driving
Hi all,
I have G500-2002, on my last trip i got really serious problem - starter self engaged while i was driving - result - starter replacement. I was hoping that issue was solved, but i was wrong. Driving with almost idle engine starter engaged again. I stopped, shutoff engine. Started to turned it on. Starter started to crank at the key position "2". Turned off again, after that starter didn't start to spin engine at the key position "2", but i was scared to toast second starter and after engine started i removed starter relay from SAM block.
Next day i did Star-diagnostic - no error, no messages, everything looks good. Don't know what can be the reason for it. Your help is more then welcome.

I will check out the differentials on a lift or jack the front or rear individually to see if any are engaged (I forgot about that trick...Thanks). But I am thinking that the differentials on the front will be engaged since I tried manually disengaging them in my parking area. But it is strange that the front would engage suddenly with the front manual differential shaft pushed in (disengage). Do you think that I would need to rebuild my shift cylinders?
