A/C advice after search
My dual zone system in the G 500 is having problems at 110k miles.
I am loosing cooling in both zones, the driver worse than the passenger. My tech recommended an evacuation, new oil, and R134a renewal. However he said the volumes were critical and I cannot find the specs in the OM. He has a machine that performs this service that I assume most specialists have.
Are there any other mechanical/electrical parts of the system I should be aware of as suspect? Are there hoses that typically fail?
Since I became aware of the poorer cooling I shut off the system. The red LED is glowing.
