Lightbulb rattling and squeaking

Just after 870ml my brand-new 2003 G500 developed some rattling and squeaking noises from driver’s door lock and tailgate as well rattling glove comportment door, when going over bumpy roads. Anybody experienced same problem? My dealer was trying to fix these ones by adjusting door lock and putting lubrication grease. Seems like it was okay for another 300ml but it all comeback after all. Any know solutions for these issues?
Overall we love our new G.
Thanks!

I had the same issues...

It was explained to me that the spare tire fitting may have shifted in transit, and it had to be adjusted twice to get it right it was silent for a while , but an additional adjustment was needed . The doors were lubricated once about 5 weeks after delivery, and I haven't had a squeak or rattle since.

Once valet reversed our G500 into a pole so the rear hatch and bumper had to be fixed. When we got the car back there was a small squeaking coming from the back. It sounded like something was moving constantly in the cargo area. I dont know if this is your same problem but we took it to the local dealership and they fixed it no problem...I dont remember what it was or how they fixed it exactly though.

'03 G500, '13 G63, '17 GLS63,
Our G500 was delivered 2 weeks ago and we're having constant squeaks coming from the rear cargo area. I rode in the back while my girlfriend drove and found the noise to be coming from the rear door latch. At this point, I don't know what to do. Hope the dealer can fix it.

two of my doors were problematic. The squeaks and rattles would come and go. The passenger door would squeak only if there was a passenger weighing down that side of the car. I gave up going to the dealer after two visits and wrapped a very small piece of black electrical tape around the lock post. I also did this to the tailgate latch. It cured the noise! Every few months you need to repeat this process! I too love this vehicle. I also have a 2003 LX 470 and never drive it as it is way to soft and cushy.

Glove box: It may actually be the windshield or the defroster venting rubbing against the firewall just below the windshield. You can remove the glove box and door with just four screws. Unplug the light. Go for a drive. If the noise is still there, your problem is "deeper". I've been there!

I took delivery on my G in April and have had the dealer lub and adjust the passenger doors twice. It's fine for a week at best.

I attribute the squeaks to body flex [??] 'cause when the G is full of peeps, no noise ... hmmmmm. My ML had the same issue with the rear hatch and MBUSA performed a recall to replace the bushings. Perhaps if enuf folk lodge complaints a similar action to fix this annoyance will come to pass.
