G questions
Just got my first G55K - a 2008 with 70k miles
1: If I replace the comand unit with a aftermarket stereo, am I going to lose access to any functions/features? as far as I can tell it has no 'car' settings in it- its just radio, navigation and phone? The only unknowns are the backup camera and the microphone. Hopefully I can get those to work with another unit....?
2: Any way to turn on audible tones when I lock/unlock the car?
3: Do the mirrors have a 'auto fold' ability so when parking they fold in?
4: I am planning a cross country move ( San Francisco to Miami ) and I was planning on towing a small uhaul trailer ( about this size http://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/wp/wp- ... haul-1.jpg ) - Is that asking for trouble?
5: First thing I did was get a service (just hit 70k miles) - New spark plugs x16, transmission service, front/rear axle/transfer case oil change, fuel filter change, new belts. Anything else I should do?
6: What is the easiest way to 'reset' the ecu. Id like to have a fresh start with it learning my driving habits, vs the previous owner.
