I finally saw my allocation list at my dealer. My G500 order with all the details goes into production on Jan 29, 2002.
Does that mean it is all confirmed and I will get the G sometimes in FEB/MAR 2002???

Thank you... I have not seen the new 2002 US version G500 either. But I have seen few of the G500 both long and short version around here in DC. We also saw few while we were in Europe this summer.

Usually here in Southern California we see everything. Heck, there is a Hummer on every other corner around here. Still, no G500 sightings. The G500 looks like it will be a formable off roader to say the least. I'm sure it will give Land Rover a run for their money.

The Production Order number is the best method for tracking your G500 order. Ask your dealer for it. P.O. #'s are always coded, as we've discussed in MBW before, and with it your dealer will know the status. When it get's on a boat you're ripe for a big smile cause it's only a matter of boat travel time to your VPC.
For example, cars coming from Bremen, Germany to the VPC in LA take 26 days, plus or minus a day or two. ...RAB
