G550 with Blizzaks (post 4k miles)
Hey gents, this is simply an update on my winter with blizzaks. I have them on a 13 G550 and put the tires to work in Vermont, USA where we had a significant winter of snow and ice.
To put it simply, the truck was unstoppable. In all conditions (ice, a foot of powder etc) the truck would plow through. Stopping distance was also increased significantly over my summer tires. Very impressed w/ them.
Now, that is in vermont. When I put the truck on highway I was even more surprised. On the G with 20" wheels, the truck felt very stable in corning (as much as a G can!) and it didn't push anymore than my summer scorpions. They were also silent (or at least countered by wind noise haha).
All in all I wanted to say that blizzaks on 20" are wonderful in all my G driving conditions.
