Help! Regarding hub spacers

My 2013 463 is running on 20" G63 wheels with 295/45/20 four season tires.

I'm trying to get hub spacer either from H&R or Eibach and looking to get 20mm thick one instead of 30mm because my tires are wider than OEM 275.

But for some reason, H&R doesn't make spacers 20mm. Eibach makes 20mm and 25mm though but I prefer H&R brand.

Is 20mm spacer less safer because it would need shorter wheel bolts?

Thank you in advance.

Do yourself a HUGE favor and Do Not Use any spacers! The G-class suspension and drivetrain are SO sensitive to the slightest changes that you're going to cause all sorts of issues with vibrations, wobbles etc etc etc

Do some searches on vibration issues with the W463 line and you'll see it's an incredibly common thing stemming from many different parts.

I understand. Some people told me about possible vibration but I'd give it a try since Eibach makes good products.

I appreciate your input.

I think H&R only starts the spacers at 30mm because its the min thickness to be able to mount onto the existing hub via bolts...and then the wheel mounts to the spacer. Versus the thinner ones just placing between the hub and wheel and then you just get longer bolts.

I agree with the above post is that the car is so sensitive (even roadforce to within spec) about vibrations and shaking that maybe the only "right" way to do spacers is the H&R DRA mount bolts directly to the hub.

I'm only considering hub centric bolt on type- the type you're talking about. I talked to a rep at H&R and he/she said H&R doesn't make 20mm because of possible instability and lack of demand. I doubt Eibach, another reputable company, would make instable product. They make 20, 25, 30. And since my tires are wider than stock ones, 30mm would be little too thick.

I will try to find a good shop that can carefully install the spacers. If they cause vibration, well,,, good experience...
