yay. always wanted one. always. "standard issue" g550. 040 black, black leather, black piano wood trim. i come from years of s-classes, sl-classes, amgs and the like. finally checking the gelaendewagon box. so excited.

nice sharp ride...congrats. I have had 2 S550s in the last 4 years. Thinking of making a move to a 2013/2014 G550 myself.

ths new '16 has the 4.0 biturbo engine (like the gt-s); more hp and tq and more fuel efficient (i know, in a g-rig- who cares?) than the 5.5 engine available in earlier years. the nomenclature remains unchanged, however. go figure. the days of the number part of the nomenclature meaning anything are long gone, i guess.

i do not have the new adaptive dampers; this rig came with no options.

and i purchased it due to how incredibly well they hold their value; they depreciate less than any other benzo product line.
