2008 G55 Engine Wiring Harness: Help!

Hi All, hoping for some wisdom...

I have an error code reading: 'p202v-2 idle speed control short circuit to the ground'. My mechanical knowledge is woeful so please bear with me.

I've read previous threads that point this toward likely vacuum leaks and throttle body faults, however these have been checked and replaced (respectively).

The garage have conducted a partial test (what is reasonable possible without fully stripping out etc) of the wiring, but all tested OK so far.

As an escalation, I'm now looking to replace the wiring harness, however I'm unsure which harness/part number is applicable. Any suggestions gratefully received.

At this point, I think you are wasting your money---find someone who as the factory diagnostic equipment and give him an hour or two and he will find the fault!!

Thanks for responding Plutoe, the fault-finding is being done in conjunction with/advice from the MB garage. So far no joy, hence why now looking to the wiring harness in the process of elimination (after leaking cables/vacuum leak, throttle position sensor, throttle body, actuator...)

If you (or anyone else) have any other suggestions though I'd welcome them!

Thanks
