G Class 2002/2003/2004 differences?
Hello, I am looking into getting a used G class.
Does anyone know what changed between year 2002, 2003 and 2004?
I would rather get a 2002, unless there is a really compelling reason to get a newer one.
Any quality issues with the 2002 that I should know about that perhaps the 2003 or 2004 models have fixed?

2013 G 63 AMG
2003 & 2004 (built before June 2004) are the same, and there are only minor differences between those and 2002 (turn signals in mirrors, new headliner, one or two new colors, steering wheel from new E-Class, etc). No major changes.
2004.5 (built June 2004 or later) will add curtain airbags, shoulder belt for rear-middle seat passenger. It will also bring a G55 Kompressor and a G500 Anniversary Edition.
