Newbie Wheel Fit Question
Hi Everyone,
I've never purchased wheels for a vehicle before and I see that my 2002 w463 (270cdi)'s wheels have a circle in the center that secures the wheels to the ___ in addition to the lug nuts.
If I buy non-Mercedes wheels for this, what do I need to look for in order to make sure that the wheels attach correctly?
I know that I sound like I don't know anything (terms) about this and that's an accurate reflection of reality.
---
A little bit about me/it is that I'm in Nicaragua (US Expat) where I purchased this Latin American model and have been enjoying it for 3 years. I've been slowly bringing it back up to "like new" condition with a couple improvements to the 2002 model.
She's dark green with black extras and black interior.
Thanks in advance.
Colin

You need to be sure the wheels are "hub-centric". That is what that little lip is on the wheel. Any reputable wheel manufacturer or retailer will be familiar with the term. Good luck.
