Hi All,
Since I'm replacing my 2011 G550 stock 18" wheels and corresponding tires with new 20" AMG style wheels and new tires, I wonder if there will be an issue using the existing spare tire cover? Are there different sizes (widths) of the silver part of the cover for wider (bigger) tires? I'd hate for it not to fit anymore.
I do understand there is some adjustment at the latch portion, which will account for a larger diameter wheel and tire set, but my question is more about wider tires fitting properly.

From my understanding they are all the same. You can adjust the length of the spare tire cover based on the wheel/tire. Same goes for the chrome ring.
That's what I was thinking, I just didn't want to assume. Thanks!

well the spare for the G63/65 is the 19" G550 wheel, and I know that it is pretty snug. guess it depends more on tire size.
there aren't additional sizes for the cover, just the one size.

Yeah, I knew the ring was expandable, that would cover the diameter. My concern was tire tread width, but I think I will be ok so long as the cover (not ring) has extra room under the ring.
