reasonable price for vinyl wrap cost on W463....

I am shopping around to get my G63 wrapped.

most places quoted me anywhere from $4800 to $6000.

they also informed me that this truck is the most difficult to wrap and reason is that all the panels have to be removed including fender flares to bumpers to headlight housings...

Let me know your thoughts and pictures if you have anything.

I want to wrap mine glossy battleship grey color! (Avery wrap has this as gloss grey). I have not seen a single G wagen with this color yet, so might be the first one!

Price really varies depending on where you're located and exactly the details that are going into the wrap.

Mine cost $5,200 and it took 5 Weeks. I got so pissed off that I went and took the truck back from that douche bag, he still didnt finish it. he wanted more time.

If I did it again. I would have him break down the Cost of each panel. He has a cost because if a panel gets damaged then he will charge you to repair 1 panel. each panel and door costs between $400 and $600 dollars. that may or may not include the Cost of the Wrap. I would get everything broken down. The cost of the wrap is a couple hundred dollars depending on the color of wrap and the finish.

Also the Hinges, the Door Hinges, the hood hinges and the tire all of these cost money. The tire takes about an hour to clean and wrap so the tire is probabaly the cheapest piece to do.

Cost of Wrap: $300
Complete cost to Wrap:
Hood: $200
Roof: $400
Left Front Door: $450
Right Front Door: $450
Left Rear Door: $450
Right Rear Door: $450
Rear Door: $450
Rear Tire: $150
Fender: $500
Bumper: $500
Left Front Quarter Panel: $400
Right Front Quarter Panel: $400
Left Rear Quarter Panel $400
Right Rear Quarter Panel: $400

Total: $5,400

Also the inner door frames, some guys dont include the inner door frames.

Finally and most important I would get some sort of stipulation in the contract on an estimate of time. And a finish date. Lets say a finish date of 2 weeks. If after 2 weeks the car is not finished, wrap/body shop is liable for $200 a day in late fees.

To behonest id probably do it myself, id look at some youtube videos online and buy a damn blow dryer.

Find yourself an Authorized 3M Protection Dealer Installer. They have the computerized patterns and can then improvise because they have seen MANY cars and trucks. The fellow in Springfield MA did all our cars. When I brought my wife's in there was some kind of outrageous Ferrari and an SL.

These backyard guys can't get the real wrap so they buy inferior brands.
I don't know the franchise Mr. Nguyen uses i but I haven't seen a bad word about him.

One also decides if one wants a clear protection wrap or some kind of advertising or pattern.

there si no difference between 3M and the other kind except color consistancy... one of the guys did say that sometimes the color si not as consistant as the 3M stuff especially when you have to reorder because of damage. But it all costs the same price. Its basically color soime brands have different colors.
