G63 front turn signal error in WET condition???
ok, so jinx on me, i got an error message today saying my front right signal bulb is out, and yes it was raining.
so i got home and disassembled everything including fender liners to get to the bottom of the signal housing nuts.
I swapped out right and left housings and bulbs, but the right side was the only side not working, so its not the bulb nor housing.
all i did was taking everything off, pulled some wires inside the fender of the signal light, close to the "blue bulb" inside the headlight (what is that blue bulb anyways???), after hour or so,
THE LIGHT STARTED TO WORKING AGAIN!!!
wtf, maybe things got dried up in there.. but this is weird.
NOW, I still have couple of days to get the extended warranty for this truck, should I bite the bullet and get the warranty? its thru thrid party that my MB dealer uses and 4 years / 70k miles on top, (stretching out to 2021 and 102k miles) for around $4.8k.... (ZERO deductible).
Is the extended warranty worth it? (

I have a 2015 G63 and this problem has happened 2, maybe 3 times.
I would get an error the right signal bulb is out -- not necessarily when wet, but honestly I don't remember.
It would self-correct after a day or two.
Both times I had the dealership look at it they found no faults.
Keeping an eye on this thread.

I had a similar problem on my 2014 G550, though the symptom was that I got error messages for various bulbs being out. It turned out that one of my headlights had a small hole from a stone (or something) that hit it and moisture was getting inside and screwing with things. The dealer replaced the problem headlight lens under warranty and the problem never came back.
