Greetings all,

I attempted to charge my battery with a Battery Tender (BT) today, without success...

I have the typical 12 volt BTs that I plug into the cigarette lighter or 12 volt sockets in the interior of my vehicles. I've successfully charged numerous other vehicles with my BTs without fail.

For some reason, my G-wagon will not charge with the BT plugged into either the 12 volt socket just below and to the left of the glove compartment, nor the 12 volt socket for the cigarette lighter on the center console.

What gives???

Are there any other sockets in the G-wagon that I've missed?

Can someone offer any suggestions? What am I missing here?

Will the G-wagon only charge via battery connections under the hood?

Those cigarette light sockets are disconnected when the ignition is off.
