2003 G500 Purchase Advice

Looking to purchase a 2003 G500. Low miles, relatively good cosmetic condition inside and out, but there is some rust on the undercarriage. See attached pics. How concerned should I be? Enough to avoid a pretty good deal? Thanks for your thoughts.

I would worry more about body rust - around the windshield, rear tail lights, around the moulding under the side doors, etc.

I would also want to see the complete service history. Have the window regulators been replaced? How about the Transfer Case shifting motor?

Just some thoughts.

Thanks for the help. Seemingly no body rust at all. Windows, etc. all work, but unfortunately, being sold by random non-MB dealer with no service history available. I'll have a MB dealer inspect, but doing some homework first.

So not concerning that this was an all southern car yet still has frame rust? Any other thoughts?

Southern where? Near the ocean or gulf? A little surface rust on the frame is of very little concern. That frame is NOT thin sheet metal.

Yes. First near Houston and then Florida gulf coast.

I think that it looks pretty good underneath. A car of that age is going to have some parts that will need replacing eventually but as of now, nothing I see seems to need it.
