Found a 2002 G-class with 95000 km ( canada) . Clean , no rust , leather is like new , engine sounds amazing .
1- can any1 help telling what to expect that will be breaking , needs changing as wll as what the cost of maintenance should be a year
for this particular model.
2- Is this a year that should be avoided ? if yes why
3- Is there a year you suggest buying
4- Most important i have no more warranty what is the reliability of that particular year or the G-class in general. I had a 1994 g320 where i had 0 issues for 3 years

Newbie
Just bought a 2002 and the difs would not engage. Turned out all it needed was flush all fluid in hydraulics and replace. $500. MB said to lock out the hubs a few times a year just to use them. I said no problem I live in Indiana and we get snow!
