2002 G500 making ticking sounds
The vehicle makes ticking sounds when it is turned on for around 30-50 seconds. Please see attached video. Anyone know what may be causing this and is it a mechanical problem? Thanks!

There's a relay or valve or something in there that does it. I don't believe it's harmful to anything. My SL and G make that noise. Someone will come along and know exactly what it is. Or you can go out there with the hood up and listen/feel which thing is doing it.

That's most likely your ac flap actuator that is either stuck or broken, mine had it..there's several videos on youtube on how to do a " Mercedes AC reset", that did the trick for mine..Good luck!
