W460 G500 Quick Repairs (Questions)

i have 2001 Europa G500,

under the hood in the center near windshield is an inlet (i assume AC incoming air) does anyone know a part number/link to that filter that is there, and the plastic piece that holds it? (having hard time with search since it's not "ac filter" or "cabin filter".. not many results come back.

the large box below it, does this ever need to be cleaned out and is there an easy way to remove that large rubber flap piece to aid in cleaning?

You actually have a W463, and that filter is an aftermarket (home made?) product. It is not an MB part.

As far as cleaning out the air intake chute, use a vacuum cleaner hose. The recirculation flap is not in the way, if you open it; and does not need to be removed.
