16/18/19 G 63 - Dealer Wrong Color - Help

16/18/19 G 63 - Dealer Wrong Color - Help

Good Day Guys/Gals,

So I drive a 2016 G63. Ordered the new 2018. Also placing an order for the 2019. Getting rid of the 2016.

2018 came in..... Wrong color. I ordered one (still have my receipt) and it came in another... apparently there was a mistake somewhere along the chain of command.

Two questions.

What are my options as far as getting the vehicle I ordered.

and two, since the G class is now discontinued (2018 being the last of the OG family line) they cant place another order (I was going to keep this for resale value later on/personal investment.... the way I should have with my SLS)... and drive it till my 2019 came.... Is it worth fighting to keep the 2018 model?


Would love to know y'all thoughts.

I think I would keep it, but demand a serious discount for the screwup. I ***=u=me that your original order shows the correct color you ordered.

Tell the dealer you'll take your 2019 order elsewhere, if he doesn't give you the discount.

My whole issue with keeping it is that its...black (Always avoid this for a car after my history with BMW). I was shooting for the original Silver Red interior look.

Not a big fan of black myself. maybe you could have them pay to wrap it?
