is there a special way to bleed power steering pump ?

is there a special way to bleed the power steering system? just got a new pump on a 2002 g500

raise the front end of the vehicle off the ground (safely and securely). Fill the reservoir. With the engine off, turn from lock to lock multiple times and check the level of the reservoir. Once you are sure you have all if not most of it out, drop the vehicle back on the ground, start the vehicle and again turn from lock to lock while checking the fluid level in the reservoir.

There is a good chance you are going to spill some fluid, so don't actually FILL the reservoir, just make sure it is at least touching the dipstick when you are checking it.

if my steering wheel is hard to turn the majority of the time and no noise is made gets easier to turn when I rev it up can it be the pump ?
