Hi,

I took my car to a dealer for inspection and they washed the car prior to returning ( hand wash ). After a couple of hours I rolled down driver & passenger windows and when I rolled up I noticed that the tint on both driver and passenger side were damaged. It's only the lower portion of the window. My cousin mentioned that this is a common issue with G-wagon's due to a very thin door and not enough space and supposedly after hot/cold temperature
changes ( assuming the used hot water to wash ) this can happen?

I'd like to check with others to see if anyone else experienced this issue and whether there is something I should do prior re-tinting to avoid damaging it again?
