Oil change interval

The computer calculates and adjusts accordingly the oil change interval depending upon driving style and how often/little the vehicle is being used/driven, amount of load, etc etc.
oil changes are based off 365 days intervals and with the environmental effects mentioned above, which determines your overall oil change interval. As days, weeks, months go by, all these environmental effects affects the interval, as you count down from 365 days, it'll eventually start showing remaining miles left before the next interval.
For example, a little less than a year ago, my SL63 had its oil change done. I drive it usually 2-3x/wk and it sits for the other days. Some spirited driving, what not. It started at 365 days before Service B, and now it reads 5600miles until Service B.
Make sense?
