2019 G550 reached the dealer
I haven’t selected a delivery date, but my G has arrived at my Baltimore area dealer. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...830386519.jpeg Rear https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...54ec657fc.jpeg 3/4 Rear https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...05f358ef4.jpeg Front https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...82d109983.jpeg Side |
That looks great. Congrats!
Damn the US DOT for those orange bits haha! |
Congratulations, she is a beauty!

CONGRATS. Looks great. Love the rear, but man those SLK, C-Class wheels gotta go STAT. A G-Class needs G-Class wheels, not sedan wheels!

Nice looking ride. Mine will also be black. I actually like the wheels...but I do agree, the brush bar needs to go. Good luck and happy motoring!! Give us a report once you put some miles on.

Congrats. Look forward to more pics. This is indeed great news that g’s are now getting delivered to customers |
I picked her up today! My initial thought is that the AMG package exhaust note is pretty aggressive. If I didn’t know better, I would think it was a true AMG. It sounds a lot like a C63 that I drove a couple of years ago. It’s much more aggressive than my M6 or X5M. The steering is light years better than the old G. It had a natural feel that didn’t fight back in the turns. The engine feels like it has lots of torque. The hoods rises significantly when leaving a traffic light, but this might be the soft suspension fooling me into believing there is monstrous torque. The electronic dash is has options galore and I’m still trying to figure them out. A couple while at the dealership: https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...14987b9c94.png Rear 3/4 https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...f395974474.png Front 3/4 |
BTW, I swear it is green, Well it will be in the sunlight. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...ba7f65c021.png It’s green |
Lastly, those controversial “S Class” wheels came with a surprising feature... https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...1c39b1ea08.png AMG? |
Congratulations...she's a "dandy". Love the color. Yes it is green. Give us some feedback as you begin to put miles on this beauty. Happy motoring!!

WOW! What a machine! Makes me want one too of course......cool color too.
|
Congratulations! That's a great looking G, love that color. Enjoy!
|
Congrats!!! Looks great in green, what color interior ? In the softest setting, what would you compare the ride comfort to ? S, GLE class ? |

I haven’t driven the S or GLE in a while, but road irregularity isolation reminded me of a 7 Series I drove recently.. I assume that the comfort similar to the GLS. It’s certainly more compliant than my wife’s X3. |
Looks a lot like the old G...Maybe its just me

I figured the G is flashy enough without adding more colors. At the dealership my salesman had a hard time keeping out of my G. Being so close to the VPC, you might literally be the 1st regular customer to have taken delivery of the G...no dealers I’ve called have them available to even view yet. |
