What Color Is This?
The video below has such an awesome red color G500. However, I have scoured the US 2019 G550 DOG, and I sure can't find anything as cool looking of a red as this Euro G500 featured. The guy mentions the color's designo name twice (something that sounds like "hisent claret red" designo?"), but for the life of me, I cannot understand exactly what he is saying. The closest thing in the 2019 G550 US DOG is Mercedes ever present and popular designo Cardinal Red, which is very different from the color on the 2019 Euro G500 in the video.
I sent this video clip to my dealer, and having watched it, he agrees with me that whatever this Euro G500 color is, it is not designo Cardinal Red. I suppose this may all be academic, as the only thing close to this color in the US G550 is Cardinal Red, so I suppose I am out of luck here. Sigh...
I guess I am back to sticking with my Polar White that I ordered, or possibly switching to the Desert Sand. If I could get the red color as featured in the video, I'd switch to it in a heartbeat!

Here is a fun website, even if your German is a bit rusty (Chrome will translate). It has been up for months. The G in the video is Cardinal Red, but the lighting in the showroom and/or the camera, make it look different.
