Any info on when 19 G's are being released to Canadian dealers?
As the title says, I did some searching through the threads as best as I could. Couldn't find any info on when the 19 G's are being released from the ports in Halifax to the dealers.
If anyone has any updated info I would greatly appreciate it!

Not sure (my dealer said "mid november but that may be delayed"). MBC did officially put the new G wagon on its website as of today and you can build it. Hopefully that's a good sign.

Apparently the word on the street as of this morning is that the G63s are going to be delayed in Canada to the new year due to delays in getting certified. Heard from my dealer today.

As of right this second, my edition 1 says “vehicle commences VPC, new update: dealer ETA Dec 3rd”. Apparently that’s not 100% accurate, but that’s the most up to date info and I just received it live from my salesman! Hope it helps

That's great to hear. I've been down all day after my salesman told me that Mercedes Benz Canada informed him that the approval process is being delayed into the early new year by Transport Canada for ALL G63s, so deliveries wouldn't be made until then. I'm not sure if the Edition 1 is a separate approval or if my salesman is incorrect in that this applies to all G63s.
Well here’s the thing there’s 2 plugs, first plug is Mercedes Benz personnel active at port of Halifax mostly engineers working on software relaying intel to dealerships about the status of the situation. The other plug is purely Transport Canada, so no one will be able to give you a firm answer, they could be delayed as they could not. I also heard and was told by few people that are in positions to make these kind of statements that yes, it’s looking like late December, beginning of the new year. I don’t believe I’d be getting any special treatment for my ED1 because it’s still a G63 without the trims etc, so who knows. Hopefully soon because the info on my car changed and said the VPC started and gave the dealership an eta ! If anyone has updates for Canada, post here

Anyone with anymore updates if they have heard of any more in Canada? I know that G63s are delayed for Canada entirely until Feb to March. They are being held at the docks. From what I understand the docks in Halifax had approx 22 trucks (couple 63s) rest 550s. Most of which were destined for Ontario region. Nothing released into BC just yet (looks like a week out).

I was told many things in the last couple of weeks, but as of late most dealerships in Montreal seem to say that the release will be in mid January. One of those is mine (at Halifax) and I’m really pissed because I got so many different dates since the summer that I don’t even believe a word of anyone anymore
Yes it's very frustrating for customers to be held up like that with a few trickling out not sure what he holdup is. Im told that the 63s are held due to MB engineering for some reason for Canada till nearly spring. It happens as last year I believe it was the gtrs were at port for 8+ months which frustrated alot of customers again.

I was also curious so I had some free time and called about 10 dealers in major areas like Ontario, Alberta, BC, spoke to sales people and sales managers and all stated roughly the same. They said the bunch sitting at the port should be released by years end (some maybe in January) and rest spring time (including amgs). I also went to school with a person who is a manager at a dealership and was told very similar. Apparently only 1 has arrived in BC, rest are scheduled for the next few weeks, to spring.

550’s have been released already, the wait is for the 63 now
Yeah what’s more frustrating is that the date in the system for me shows December 5th... why would they attribute dates if they won’t deliver them? I had to plan a trip abroad and was holding onto that information and now I just realized I missed my chance to leave because of this. It’s so frustrating

Mercedes Benz Canada doesn’t even have an official release date. They were unable to provide a launch date when I called. But most people and dealerships are hinting towards mid January, if your car has already arrived I’d assume. Mine too, just sitting no updates f**** all
