Hi does anyone know when the front and rear dif oils should be changed on a 2018 or older Gwagon?
I ask because we took our 2015 G550 into the dealer for the AO service and they charged me over $350.00 to change the front and rear dif oils and our G550 only has 15K miles on it.

Depending on the dealer, the going price is $300-500. Both our two 2018 G63s had this done at 2k miles (mandatory according to MBZ).

Really, after 2K? I wonder why that is? Are the tolerances in the difs that rough that you need to "clean" the dif oils that soon?

I was told to have it changed at 1800 miles. I'm about half way there. I was told $400ish.

After the first change out, then what's the intervals? Anyone know?
