HELP: Dealer Operation Codes
Hello - I am in the market to replace/upgrade our Gray 2006 G500 with 45k for another G500/550/AMG in white and am looking at a particular one that is for sale at a MB Dealer I asked for the maintenance records (since they said it was maintained at their dealership) and they provided them. I noticed an 'Operation Code and Description' that is a little concerning to me and was curious if anyone on the board was familiar with the following (yes, I did contact the dealer about this code and am still waiting to hear back):
Operation Code: 01MBZ
Description: Engine Assembly
This code shows up in October of 2017 along with other less ominous looking codes/descriptions: Car Wash Service/FSS A Service, Radio/Lites/Alar, Tires/Alignment. I guess my concern is if the engine was replaced a year ago and what that does to the value and why they would not tell me. That seems significant enough to advertise/disclose.
Prior to that back to 2011 I see nothing indicative of engine troubles or anything severe. A recall campaign, a door latch, a window regulator, and a couple Body Gen Diag
If anyone has any info and can help me out I would really appreciate it.
