2003 g55 Amg pre purchase things to look for?
I’m going to see an 03 g wagon tomorrow at a dealership, apart from being very cheap (35k with 98k miles) the dealership doesn’t have a very good rep. What are things I should look out for when I go test drive? Would a obd2 tool hook up for a check fine? Any common issues with this model I should look out for? I don’t want to buy a lemon and this price has me very suspiscous already as the car looks almost perfect cosmetically, even converted to the newer model amg front bumper and lights. Other than the normal stuff you check with any car. These are some things that I found wrong with many of the G's I looked at.
Check the motor mounts and transmission mounts. They break a lot.
Check the hub seals they go out on the front a lot.
Sunroof cables go out too.
