No new 2019 G350d for the USA :(
Not that I thought we'd ever get it, since MBUSA never brought the d G-Class to the USA, but a diesel is the perfect engine for the G (well, if one is using a G as it was made to be used, LOL).

There is an engine data view option for the center display screen. Under brisk, but not excessive, acceleration i usually max out around 150 horsepower, so the diesel would have more than enough power for me. My current mileage is a bit backwards at 15 city, 13 highway, and 14 combined. Getting 20+ on the highway would mean fewer stops at the gas station.

I do agree; a diesel G is the perfect combo. I really considered a reconditioned W461 G with an uprated turbodiesel engine. A company in Utah imports, reconditions and adds A/C. Some are running over 200HP with mechanical injection. They are not cheap, but are a simple, hardcore off-road machine, that would survive an EMP attack. But, the wife wanted leather...
