G350d Coming to US?
Received this MB marketing blurb today saying the diesel can be ordered beginning in Jan 2019, but nowhere does it state in which markets.

Such a shame. Max torque at just 1200 rpm. Neither Cummins, Powerstroke, or Duramax can match this performance, in terms of how low of an rpm where they develop their max torque. I believe those engines, as outstanding as they are, develop their max torque at 1600 to 1800 rpm, albeit they develop up to 1,000 ft lbs (new Cummins in 2019 Ram 3500HD). G350d would be a heck of a rock crawler, with the right tires, assuming a guy was rich enough to take a $160,000 car over boulders and such, and scratch her all up off road in the first place.
