Seat comfort controls

the right side drivers seat switches of my 2012 G550 that control the lumbar and other parts of the seat stopped working. Not sure what that part of the seat or those switches would be called to check the fuses. The passenger seats switches aren’t working as well. Could someone help point me to the right fuse to check or if you could help me diagnose it I’d be grateful. It seemed to have started when I had my head unit replaced...

To say the least the ten page 463.237 seat wiring diagram is extremely complicated system. I know why Xentry is used to diagnose these complicated systems---find someone who has a bootleg copy and he will quickly find the fault.FYI it aint a fuse. Its either a SAM or seat control module fault>

The seat contour controls not working is a very common problem. It's a pneumatic system with airbags in the seats and an air pump under the passenger seat (I believe). So either both seats work, or neither works. Most likely the pump or the pump fuse is burned out, which happens when the system springs a leak and the pump is on all the time trying to maintain pressure. Either the pump or the pump fuse needs to be replaced.

Thanks for the responses. I’m wondering if the installers who put in my aftermarket stereo screwed it up. My SRS light wouldn’t go off and my local repair shop discovered that the air bag wire in the column where the driver seat belt is was disconnected. Maybe they disconnected some other wires?

Seems like the seating functions, whether is lights or actual functionality is a common issue with these new models
