Looking to purchase a Star Diagnostic tool to use with my 2013 G63. I purchased the ICARSOFT MB V2.0 and it does not work with the G63 even after updating. It works great with my Sprinter van. I have searched the various threads for reference to the G63 but none show compatibility. Has anyone purchased or know of a source that I may be able to purchase the system. Aliexpress does not list vehicle. Any recommendation would be greatly appreciated

You obviously confused about DAS Xentry aka Star else you would know that any version including and prior to your MY will diagnose the complete MB line back to 1999 and with your MY all you need is the part D mux aka C3. However you have to know what you are doing!

Plutoe thanks for the response. I do not have any experience with DAS / Star but love researching and educating myself before getting into trouble. I would assume that it would cover all aspects of the entire Mercedes line but was looking for verification. The various models are listed but the G63 is not mentioned. There is very little information on the forums pertaining to the G63. More about the G55 /G500 but when it comes to the on board diagnostics they are different. All I want is an easy way to diagnose faults that come up as I travel between states. If in in the middle of nowhere and the engine light comes on is it something major or can I keep going.

I purchased the star diagnostic tool that has software version V2019.03 pre loaded on a laptop from OBD2TOOL. It worked great on my sprinter van. But failed to recognize the G63. When I enter the VIN it still does not work. It has the G55 Kompressor listed but not the G63. I enquired about the problem and they were quick to respond that that was the latest software they have. They will check with their engineer and get back with me. .Has anyone had any success recognizing a G63 with the star diagnostic software. And if so could you let me know what version you used

Xentry 2019.12 MB SD C4 Generally support updated new models. And online programming requires the latest version

do you have confirmation that 2019.12 works with a 2013 G63? I do not see a list of models just years. I don't mind purchasing the new software if I know there is some history that it works.
