2019 G63 Autobahn video
Loved this review and test drive video of the G cruising along at 120+ mph in the pouring rain so thought I’d share. (8 min mark is when he hits the Autobahn).

No more MB:(
Cool video, 120MPH in a G is fast. I tried 100 and backed right off, of course the new get will feel much better at high speeds but with that windshield the aero is like hitting a wall.

He actually hits the speed limited in this video at 140mph, 224kph. Pretty interesting to see how confident he was at those speeds. I've had my G55 at over 100mph its it full on white knuckle driving.
Wish he had opened the door after driving in the rain!

The single most significant and huge improvement of the 2019 G over all pre-19 G’s is the car’s all new and immensely improved steering and front suspension system, not to mention the car’s massively improved stability, drivability, and comfort, both in straight line and curve driving. But, don’t take my word for it, watch the many reviews by test drivers of the 2019 G, and you will find this to be the most significant point virtually all of the testers absolutely rave about. I test drove several 2017 G63’s before I decided to order a new 2019 G63 (in Oct 2018), because I was so totally disappointed and absolutely shocked at how bad the steering was on all of these low mileage G63’s that I test drove. Last week was my first chance to finally drive a 2019 G63, and I was literally blown away how great and completely different it felt from the several 2017 G63’s that I previously test drove. We’re comparing now long, long antiquated and well outdated old fashioned recirculating ball steering mechanisms of the pre-19 G’s to the 2019 G’s modern day rack and pinion steering. Nevertheless, I would strongly recommend never driving any car, be it a G or anything else, above the posted speed limit. This way, all is good!
