G550 Plastic cover on back piece of roof

2009 G550
G550 Plastic cover on back piece of roof
My 2009 G550 had an incident with a garage door and the plastic cover piece on the back portion of the roof was knocked off.
I cannot find the name of this piece nor it's purpose/function. I was planning to either glue it back on or purchase a new one but cannot find any info on it.
Anyone know? It's on top of the roof towards the back, almost near the backup camera.

Yeah, mine was missing entirely when I bought my used G. Couldn't find the original OEM piece you have there anywhere, so I just measured the area and purchased a cheap Chinese plastic replica off of eBay.. lol.
In other words, yeah, you probably just want to re-attach what you have and glue is what I used too.
