2019 G new car smell
Ok guys, I know a lot of discussions on here are by their very nature rather frivolous considering we’re talking about a luxury automobile, but it’s time for a serious matter.
I consider myself somewhat of a connoisseur of new car smells. It is, perhaps, my favorite part of owning a new car and without a doubt my favorite smell in the world. Of course different makes and models vary in the character of their smell, the strength of it, and it’s duration. Cost seems to play only a minor role in this, as I’ve been underwhelmed by Mercedes in this regard in the past and it’s the Americans who seem to win at the new car smell game. I’ve walked past Lincolns that are 10 feet away with doors and windows closed and caught wafts of glorious intoxicating VOCs.
So, then, the question - how is the smell in the new G?

i was serious, it smells like the Napa leather mostly, like the s classes I’ve owned. There’s leather overload in this new G. I am a new G owner but I have owned several s63’s and the smell is quite the same. Not like the GTR though
