Should I consider H&R 31MM spacers for the G?

I have the H&R 31mm and they have been on my 02 G500 for about a year and love how it changed the look of my G. So far I have no issues with them. I got them after I got the new BfGoodridge K02 tires over a year ago and I've put about 15k miles on them.
One thing I've noticed after installing the spacers is the improvement in handling thru corners. Before if I go thru corners too quick, it felt like the G was gonna lift up and tip over.
Here's a couple pics of my G with the 31mm spacers
Here with his older brother, 1971 BMW.
My next plan is a lift, maybe 2" and bigger 35" tires.

I needed to hear that feedback, that the spacers DID improve the overall handling and stability of the G, thank you

Just to support my decision on very wide wheel spacers, you can compare the old G against what Mercedes has done with the new model. You can see how much wider the stance is on the 2019 G (wheels compared to the vehicle body width) than the old one. Even my G's stance still looks narrower.

I needed a little bit of "poke-out" in my G life lol
Took about 30min or so to install, with my pops and I.
Man, what a difference. If your ever considering getting spacers for your G truck. DO IT.
Heres some pics for now:
Before
oh my lawd, 31mm spacers made a huge difference on how the stance and drive of the truck! My goodness, just making a U turn feels planted l, no more of that top heavy wobble feel.
I'll take some more pics and post them up later, time for the gym. I put off my fasted training for these damn spacers...WORTH IT THO!🙃😜

WOW!!! That looks great. Amazing what a few mm can do. I am impressed at your comments about a change in the "feel" of the truck. That was one of my biggest complaints with my MY '16 G550. Such a simple solution. Happy motoring.

They look great, BUT, I noticed my steering wheel isnt exactly at 12 o'clock position, like it was prior to spacers installation. It tends to favor a bit to the right now. I didn't think an alignment would be necessary?
Aside from that, the stance is significantly more aggressive and handling / corners has definitely improved. Drive is still smooth and no steering wheel wobbles/shaking

I didn't know there is a way to center the steering wheel without an alignment?

There is a procedure for centering the steering wheel in the front end mechanism. I haven't done it on any of my Benzes but had it done multiple times on my Porsches because we were always fiddling with camber and caster as well as alignment for track driving. I believe it had something to do with loosening and adjusting tie rod ends or something of that nature.
A good check would be to center the steering wheel while the truck is on a flat surface (parking lot) and drive slowly forward to see if it tracks in a straight line. Trying to do this on a road with the archaic suspension on the older G's is virtually impossible. Good luck. Let us know how you make out.

I've driven it these last few days post installation of spacers and the steering overall I feel may be fine. I think not varies overall with the crown of the road because sometimes it favors right and sometimes left. Its weird, I assume widening the stance made the axles that much more sensitive?

Spacers update
Alright, so I've elected to drive the G vs C32/SL63 the past few days post spacers installation and heres my feedback:
Mostly combined city/motorway driving, overall very smooth, just like before the spacers installation. No wobble feeling on the steering wheel and suspension. Though I feel that widening the stance has made the axles more "sensitive" to uneven surfaces and road crowns, because even though the truck drives straight, every once in a while, the steering wheel favors going to the right or left, i dont know if I'll need an alignment eventually, but I've asked, and the feedback I've gotten is alignment is unecessary.
Handing has improved for sure. The body roll is significantly less whenever taking bends/turns as it was prior to having the spacers on. Overall handling is has definitely improved, truck feels more planted and a lot less feeling of being top heavy.
Despite it only being 31mm, it made a huge change on the trucks overall stance / appearance. It looks more burlier / brawny and more demanding, as it should've came from factory! The widened wheel stance and that slight bit of wheel/tire poke out from the fenders, just looks so damn right.
Overall, pretty happy with the spacers decision. It made my G truck look complete.
thank you guys for putting in your inputs and feedbacks! It truly helped me with the decision of getting the spacers. I hope this thread will help provide guidance for those still contemplating whether or not to get 31mm spacers on their G truck.
I say do it!
Oh! Give me a follow on IG, @joelszaesthetic, to see more of the stable in action and some fitness motivation 👊

Is alignment necessary post spacers installation update:
Hello!
Its me again haha
So I contacted my service advisor at my dealership inquiring about whether or not an alignment is necessary post spacers installation.
This is what my advisor said:
"Wheel spacers and wider tires can cause drift or pull sensations to be exaggerated compared to OE, however, the G class is prone to pulls, drifts and slightly off center steering wheels eve under best of circumstances; given the natures of its heavy duty suspension and differentials."
no wheel alingment is necessary

I think this is also me just being very OCD and being a perfectionist haha! i notice every little detail, but overall the trunk drives smooth and the "wandering" is very miniscule if that.
Though, its almost been a week since i installed the spacers, should i remove the wheels and re torque the spacers down? i torqued the spacers down to wheels spec from the vehicle manual, which is 96ft lbs recommended (i torqued the wheel bolts to this as well)
