Drove a G500 today
The Mercedes reps brought another 2002 G-class in today for familiarization reasons. This time I got to take it out on the freeway. I was quite impressed. The ride and wind noise on the 10 freeway at speeds up to 90 mph aren't noticably different than they are in the ML320, which I wasn't expecting. LOTS of headroom, and it does feel a little top-heavy, unfortunately.

We received 7 G500's today and the Newport Beach "Soccer Mom" frenzy has started. Move over Range Rover. A 'new' kid has moved into town. ...RAB:p

Drove one today
My dealer took me out for a 40 minute test drive in a silver G500 today. Lots of fun. Just wish they'd hurry up and load my G500 on a boat already...it's been built but is waiting for a vessel.
