First ‘19 G to 10kmi?
Anyone beat me to it?
I got my 10kmi service on Monday. It was $510 after a 10% off coupon. I’m happy to report that my windshield is still original, I didn’t need any additional oil before the first service, and I still love my G.

@dunderhi Outside the positive news getting to 10k ok, how is it going? How's the ride, etc? Anything interesting you discovered, enjoy, dislike, learned?

Complaints:
1) Lane Keeping Assist - I think it’s programmed to be too aggressive and as a result somewhat dangerous. I deactivate it after every engine start.
2) Gas Mleage - I knew it would be bad, but MB and/or the EPA got it wrong. It’s more like 15 City and 13 Highway.
3) Parking Garages - It doesn’t fit in most of them, but if your is clean and shiny, it earns a spot in front of the hotel.
Unsure:
1) Tuning - I got the G550 expecting it to be rather sedate, but the transmission is programmed to be fairly aggressive. It’s more like an AMG than a generic Benz. The exhaust will pop in Sport mode.
2) Rear Tire Control - I can get them to break free in the snow and lock up during dry braking, muck like a pick-up. I like that type of feedback personally, but most would argue the safety systems aren’t doing their job.
3) Airtightness - Or should I say watertightness? I certainly want the latter, but the former needs some getting used to if the A/C is on MAX. I’ve got it all figured out, but it took a bit time.
Likes:
1) Seat Position - I love the commanding view.
2) Seat massage - It’s my #1 short cut. I use it every time I drive.
3) Voice Command - I know it’s not MBUX, but making phone calls and programming the NAV works pretty well.
4) It intimidates the Canadian Geese - We have hundreds of these birds at work and they block traffic frequently. The G seems to be the only vehicle that gets them motivated to get out of the way.
5) Adaptive Suspension - Sport can get choppy on rough pavement, but comfort makes a world of difference.
