2019 G63 Quirks that need ironing out

I have been enjoying my G63 immensely, but I have noticed some quirks:

1) It is very slow sometimes to gear up, to the point that you have to paddle shift to "help it out".
2) The Garage Door Opener (new system) does not learn the "rolling codes" for late model Liftmaster garage door openers. MB is aware of the problem, but the recent update pushed to the vehicle late May 2019 failed to address the issue.
3) Input to the "smart system" is slow to process - takes about 2-3 seconds for the speech recognition engine to recognize speech and to effect an outcome. Almost never gets it wrong, but is frustrating with how slow it is. Interestingly much faster to make requests from Siri on your phone.
4) Vehicle occasionally doesn't start. I got stuck in a McDonald's Drivethrough and ended up having to call Mercedes Link. They had no idea that the vehicle has no ability to be started by a key (they kept telling me to pull the start button out of the dash and to insert the key to start it). That didn't work. Ended up doing my OWN troubleshooting and discovered that you have to put the key fob into the receptacle in the driver's cup holder area in order to have the vehicle "recognize" the key fob on occasion. The new pushed update was supposed to have solved this, and I have not experience the issue since.
5) I find literally EVERY BUG you can find with the vertical windshield. Used Rainex to get them to stick way less.....seemed to work.
6) The heated windshield only operates when you put the windhshield defrost onto full blast - which is a bit annoying with the constant blast of air. Would be nice to not have to blast the air with the heated windshield.

Anybody else noticing anything with their G63's?

Thanks for sharing. One would think that the included ‘owner’s manual’ should address most of these, like 4 above.

For 1, dues that happen during normal mode or sport / sport+ ? I’d assume that it needs to be pushed to higher rpms especially in sport modes for it to up-shift, like other sport vehicles

As it relates to quirk #3....my E 400 takes more than a few seconds to boot up voice recognition. More like 30 to 45 seconds. It is extremely annoying. The system on my MY '16 G was much faster. I usually bypass the boot up with Siri or dial manually before starting off.
