G63 allocation question

G63 allocation question
hello there. just in need of an assurance and clarification. i placed a deposit for an order last week for the G63. but haven’t received any allocation from them. may i know how long does it usually take for you to get an allocation. and if i placed the order last week, will i be getting the 2020 G63 right? sorry to bother you all. thanks!

Didn't your dealer mention to you about the current lead time for G63? Yes, you will be getting 2020 MY. But not sure about your case though, if your dealer is a magician to make things quicker. Otherwise, welcome to the waiting zone. I ordered mine in April and still have good 9 months to go.

I’m from Canada so my experience may differ from the states. I got my allocation in the end of May, and the production will start first part of August. Estimated arrival time is not available until the car is on board for ship. But usually takes about a month, depending where you are.

It all depends on the dealership. Some dealers have more allocations than others. In general it seems the average wait time is about a year for the 63, less for the 550. I ordered my 63 in early Feb from MB Manhattan which is a factory owned dealership and was told around 9 months or so, but most people I know have been waiting 12-15 months. Again, your dealer should be able to give you a rough estimate.

thanks man. wish i’m in your shoes right now to be receiving the new G63. 😭 enjoy the new ride buddy!! the dealer said that i have to wait about 12 months for this G63. it’s worth the wait but i pray that i will receive the allocation soonest!

It was definitely a difficult wait for me. It was a great lesson in building up my patience. Something I desperately need. I can confirm that it is without doubt worth the wait. I’m sure you will feel the same way.
