2019 G63 Check Engine light at 1600miles

I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problem with their new G63. Happened once and car would not accelerate properly and limited me to about 35mph. Check engine light came on. After restarting engine problem disappeared for 1 day. The check engine light came back after driving normally the next 36 hours. Car has never been driven hard and service is perplexed. They say cylinders are misfiring. Car has always been filled with the best gas in our area which is fine for all my other cars. Wondering if anyone else has had or heard of this problem on the new 2019 g63.

Yes I’ve heard of this before and engine got replaced...

did you follow proper break-in process up to 1K miles and get the first service done? Just asking as a datapoint

I was very careful to follow proper break-in procedure. It has still never been used outside of breaking protocol despite being at 1600 miles. My dealer had recommended for service at 1500 miles but told me it could be done between 1500 and 1800 miles. It was actually going in for service the day after the check engine light Came on

No more MB:(
Gas has nothing to do with it. Sounds like you may have gone into "limp" mode. Sometimes the engine does this to protect itself, could be as simple as mapping/programming or mechanical like a cylinder head issue.

Im hoping for the best. It’s funny how we can become so emotionally attached to a vehicle.

I am having the same problem. It had only been 4 days since I picked up mine and the check engine light turned on. I took it straight to the dealership and its been two weeks today and MB USA has treated me so poorly last 2 weeks. They have no answers. Every 3 day I go to the dealership looking for answers and they just hand me some lie and send me my way.
First, It had some leak of exhaust as was told me.
Second, Injectors
Third, I have no damn clue whats being replaced in the damn car.
4 days is all that this thing could make it. Extremely disappointed.
Any suggestions guys from this forum. I will appreciate them.

Maybe a Misfire on the G63? JK, but cool username.

Sorry to hear this on your new G. This is frustrating since MB is one of the top brands in services. Hope this gets resolved soon.
