I chose the house Beautiful home mate. But I am partial to the old myself.

 

My '16 is gone...waiting for my new one. I guess I have made my choice. I find it interesting to see then side by side.

 

I like the looks of the old one better.

 

Old one for me. The new one is very commercialized. Nothing special about it in my opinion.

 

New one, but would love both.

 

I went old here with 3K on the clock, mainly because of value to be honest. Love both however.

 

I like the solid axle so picked up a low mileage 13' G63 but love the new interior......

 

Old.

Every Tom, Dick and Harry (but more likely Nancy) can live with the new one every day. That’s not the case with the old one - rough, tough, and rare.

 

I must admit that at first I preferred the new one, but I realized that the old one would be impossible to replace. It made me think about the Hummer H2 when it came out in 2003 to modernize the H1. Over years, we can obviously notice that the H1 is way better.

 

Just drive the old one...then drive the new one...you'll never again want to drive the old one...

 

Thats the point you miss. You can drive any truck and suv and pretty much get the same feel. The truck feel of the w463 is special. At first I didn't appreciate it but the more time I spend with my G63 the more I do.

The new one is nice but its a revised GLS in a G wagon shape with a S class interior. I would much prefer the Range Rover LWB over the NEW W464. I think there should be a seperarte forum for the w464 anyways

 

Question: do you own or have driven 2019 g63 for extended period of time?

and I’d like to add that IMO L405 RR and W464 G are entirely different vehicles - G stands alone

Would love to drive a new one. I actually think the old ones are a blast to drive and I love that about it. Wasn't a fan of the full size range rover I drove, is the new one anything like that or a mix between a range rover and the old G? Interior is no question light years ahead as well as small details like the taillights rear view camera etc. but overall looks I'm a fan of both.

 

New one has a character of its own ; still a little raw and civilized at the same time. I love it. Range Rover is different.

 

That Old one Looks Damn Good, I never let mine get that Dirty. Mine is always Clean.

 

I prefer the old body it so much more rugged looking. I Love the un-refined ruggedness.The new one is so much more refined to me.

 

At the end of the day I bet 95% of the people in the real world would not even notice the difference between a W463/W464. A quick look they look the same, one looks like a facelift version.

 

Yeah my wife (non car person) can’t spot a difference among g wagons and among 911s

 

after my little education, my wife knows the 911s with wings are faster than the rest,lol
