G63 tuning? Is the G63 supposed to be slow in C?

G63 tuning? Is the G63 supposed to be slow in C?
I have noticed IN the stop and go traffic in NYC area the turbo lag is very unsafe in C mode for this truck. Several times a little honda civic type car will out accelerate you even when you are mashing the pedal, makes dangerous to merge on the highway or when over taking.

My friend with a 17 G63 says its normal and says to always drive in S mode. S mode the truck behaves totally different.

But is this normal? Does anyone suggest a good tune and downpipe combo for the truck?

C forces the transmission to start from 2nd and hence a non linear acceleration.

put it to S and you’ll have torque on tap from the second you touch the throttle. All that power can get a bit tiring tho.
