Anyone else with a 2020 stuck in port??? My 2020 G550 has been sitting in Brunswick, GA since Sept. 30th? Anyone else with the same issue? My SA told me today that the 2020's are sitting a warehouse and for some reason they are not releasing them until mid November....I realize I have waited this long (February), but antsy to get into my next car. Do I stick it out???

Same thing with my g63. In Baltimore since sept 30 waiting for release. My sales rep said we can start credit app once car is on truck. If you have msrp deal, I would say it makes sense to wait for it. You almost made it bro don’t give up

 

Are you sure you have a 2020? Mine was built in August and arrived in early October and it’s a 2019.

 

My G is MY2020 with September 4 production date.

 

My build date was 9/4/2019 also.

 

They are held pending "official USA release 2020 model" - it's not stuck - it's waiting patiently to meet you..

 

Mercedes did this exact same thing last year. They released the new 2019 G wagon models on November 1st so that's probably why they are holding them back. All the dealer rec'd tjeir car in that first week.

 

did you receive your car on the 1st November or shipped that day? mine delayed too for the same reason.

 

Arrived at dealer 11/5.

 

The 2020's have not been cleared for release yet. There are none on the ground at the dealers..
Most likely, the EPA and DOT paperwork isn't done yet, so the cars can't be released.
You haven't been waiting near as long as others have, just relax.

I believe that sometime in November is the current understanding.
We won't get the exact date until we are informed via Netstar
