AMG Drive Unit, which adds a round controller on the steering wheel that changes drive modes and adjusts the amount of traction control. With that, you get no heated steering wheel, but some people like having it. Me, personally I need my hands heated during the brutal winter season in NE lol
Curious - I presume you ordered this months ago - did you know there'd be a $23k increase or did they spring it on you recently? Surely, anyone who spends $170 for a car can afford $190, so it's not going to break you, but that's a sock in the gut.

I had no idea! I read this and called my SA and indeed you lose the heated steering wheel.
Wow you have no idea how happy i was to finally get a heated steering wheel on a G after years of no heated steering wheel on my G wagons.
I'm in Montreal so winters are just as bad if not worse then in New England.

i was going to get the black magno paint but the waiting time’s too long. went for the obsidian black instead but i got the red interior too! definitely black magno is way limited supply and good for resale for future!

The configurator clearly eliminated the steering wheel heater when you ordered the drive unit. Dealers and sales folk in cold climates should have known that

FWIW- I have the same carbon wheel (actually same build 2019 but with blk nappa), only the dynamica part heats up. Kind of weird as part of the wheel is super cold and other part hot! Not that i would change the wheel for anything- love it! Congrats on your 2020!!
