MY2020 g63 interior package plus vs standard
I have a 2020 g63 on order with the saddle brown g manufaktur interior and am trying to determine if it is worth it to upgrade it to the exclusive interior plus with the diamond stitching. I haven't seen either in person so i'm wondering what the differences are besides the stitching pattern. My dealer wasn't entirely sure what the difference was besides the stitching because they are both nappa leather. Does anyone know if there are any material changes or if it is purely aesthetic?

You’ll receive the Alcantara headliner, and complementary interior pillars as well. The leather itself is certainly a higher quality where it is upgraded over the standard Mercedes ‘open pore’ offering. It’s where it replaces the vinyl door cards, center console & dashboard that IMO the value of the upgrade is really worthwhile. Mercedes uses a super supple smooth leather on all of these items that give the presence of a truly hand crafted interior. It’s not a Rolls Royce ‘glove leather’ quality, but it is really close and completely worth the expensive IMO over the standard leather/stitched vinyl offering. The diamond-detailed seats are beautiful and very opulent looking in all the seats. In the MY19 G550 the upgraded dynamic seating package included heated/vented seats, as well as mobilized bolsterers & massage support. I don’t know if this is the same package with the MY20 G63, but if this all is indeed bundled together then I would definitely recommend checking this box. Hope this helps. 👍
