Carbon fiber/dinamica steering wheel--heated or AMG steering wheel buttons

Carbon fiber/dinamica steering wheel--heated or AMG steering wheel buttons
Could someone please share their experience with the heated option on the carbonfibre/dinamica steering wheel? I currently have it specced on my 2020 G63 and am wondering how durable the dinamica is and if the heated option will wear it out more quickly. I live in Colorado so a heated steering wheel is definitely useful in the winter, but I also think it would be nice to have the AMG drive unit buttons. The car is going to be my daily and I plan on keeping it for a very long time so I want to spec it for longevity.

I had to make the same decision.
The dynamic holds up pretty darn well with my sweaty hands.
Drive Unit vs Heat.
Drive unit is awesome and fun looking - cool to show your friends. But the same exact controls are right on the command unit so you can still switch to Sport+ without it. Same cant be said about the heated steering wheel. Which is why I went with the heated steering wheel. I snowboard and want my fingers toasted when i get to the mountain.
