WTB w463 Roof Rack

Looking for a roof rack, preferably in California.
Not interested in the front runner. Let me know what you've got!

Hit me up. I have a brand new slim Gobi rack that should fit any 4-door W463.

I do, but it's on top of my G now. I changed my mind about selling it.

it’s all good,
the lead time on getting a Gobi is a month on rush order. Lol. Maybe I should just get it. Post some pics when you get a chance.

I got my Gobi slim line rack through https://jackwagonoverlanding.com/ Jack was great to deal with and kept me up to date on every step. I think mine took about 2 and half weeks with the rush.

The best return on investment so far on my truck, love having the extra storage and having what I need on me when I'm off roading.

Looking forward to throwing my Gobi T4 ground tent up there in a few weeks to go camping.

Give Jack a holler he can get you set up!

I had heard the same thing, and then I ordered the rack through Dirty Parts in Culver City and it got shipped out within the week and I didn't even request a rush order! They must have had one laying around from a cancellation. Now that I want another tool box and an adjustable cross bar, the lead time on those is 8-12 weeks. Go figure. Regardless, their products are worth the wait!

Looking good! Yeah I communicated last wk w Jack & he told me lead time is a month. I'm just debating if I really want the G to be parked outside since it's always been garage kept ever since I got it. I would not be able to clear the standard garage door after the installation of the Gobi...

Thanks a lot!

Those turn signal guards have started to rust so I'll be removing them in place of some fender protection overlays (https://www.g-wagenaccessories.com/p...r-all-aluminum). I also just picked up some new headlights (https://shop.eurowise.com/product-p/eww463hl.htm), caster correction offset bushings (https://jackwagonoverlanding.com/col...ffset-bushings), a steering stabilizer (https://jackwagonoverlanding.com/col...ing-stabilizer), rear shock sliders (https://shop.eurowise.com/product-p/w463rss.htm) and a few other accessories that should go on fairly soon. I'll post updated pics once it's all finished.

Thanks!

It’s the large stealth tool box (https://www.gobiracks.com/product/go...alth-tool-box/). It’s large, but not big enough for me so I’ve got another one on the way that will go opposite the tool box that’s up there now.

Nice, like the fact it's shallow, but def not enough room for all the essentials. I even carry Diff / motor oil in my tool box.

Did you opt for the sunroof section of the rack?

currently I have no need for it, but wondering if you have it and what the noise is like. I havent put on the wind deflector since my wind noise is pretty negligible since I put sound deadening all along my roof.

I don’t have the sunroof section of the rack yet. Since the only spot I could put the tie down system was over the sunroof area because of the shovel and hi-lift attachments, I’ll probably pull the trigger on the sunroof section sometime in the future.

With regards to sound, the bar light made all kinds of noise and pretty much rendered the sunroof unusable anywhere above 10mph. It’s a lot better now that the wind deflector is on, but it’s still relatively loud.

I just stumbled across this rack on offer up. It's in Newport Beach https://offerup.com/item/detail/922257067/

All yours, I no longer need one.
